GEFISWISS, a Romandy-based asset manager specialising in sustainable real estate, announces the start of construction on the Longemale district in Pomy (VD), developed on behalf of PRISMA Fondation through its real estate investment group PRISMA Previous Responsible Residential Real Estate (PRISMA Previous RRRE).
Comprising 127 homes across 11 buildings, as well as space dedicated to local services and amenities, the project addresses the challenges of housing supply, the energy transition and demographic change in the northern Vaud region. The apartments, the first of which will be available to rent from 2028, will support the densification of the residential zone on the edge of the Yverdon-les-Bains urban area.
Against a backdrop of sustained population growth and a persistent housing shortage, the Longemale project will help strengthen the residential offering in northern Vaud.
The project includes a broad mix of homes designed to meet the needs of different segments of the population. It will also incorporate housing suitable for seniors, promoting independent living and intergenerational exchange.
Through its location, residential mix and urban quality, the Longemale project has been designed to meet the current needs of the population while anticipating future demographic shifts.
Developed to high sustainability standards, the district will feature an energy concept based in particular on an anergy loop, heat pumps and photovoltaic systems. All buildings will meet the requirements of the Minergie standard.
The project also provides for the creation of a self-consumption association (RCP) to encourage local use of the energy produced.
Particular attention has been paid to the quality of the outdoor spaces and to integrating the district into its surroundings. Orchards, wildflower meadows and communal meeting spaces will provide a sustainable and attractive living environment for future residents, while ecological corridors will support biodiversity.

The Longemale project illustrates the strategy of the PRISMA Previous RRRE investment vehicle, managed by GEFISWISS, which is to develop new sustainable residential districts capable of generating long-term value.
This enables GEFISWISS to offer pension institutions investment products that meet increasingly demanding sustainability requirements, while actively contributing to the creation of high-quality housing and to the energy transition.
Boris Clivaz, Managing Director of GEFISWISS SA, says:
“The start of construction on the Longemale project marks an important milestone for investors in PRISMA Previous RRRE. This development reflects our determination to create neighbourhoods that meet the needs of the population while addressing the challenges of sustainability, demographic change and quality of life. It offers a fitting response to the issues facing municipalities and investors.”
The project further expands the real estate portfolio already held within PRISMA Previous RRRE.
