The Swiss regtech company Indigita SA has joined the United Nations Global Compact – a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices – as a full participant. As part of this initiative, Indigita has committed to integrating the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact into its strategies and operations, respecting human and labor rights, preserving the environment and fighting corruption in all its forms.

• Launched in 2000, the United Nations Global Compact is the world’s largest sustainability initiative, with more than 15,000 companies and 3,800 non-business signatories based in more than 160 countries, and more than 69 local networks. This initiative is a call to companies around the world to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption, and to act in support of the United Nations’ goals and the issues set out in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

• By integrating the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact into its strategies, policies and procedures, and by fostering a culture of integrity, Indigita not only assumes its core responsibilities to people and the planet, it also lays the foundations for its long-term success and contributes to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

• To fulfill its commitment, Indigita will engage in collaborative projects related to good governance, transparency and accountability, and will report its progress on an annual basis. These will include projects aimed at promoting diversity and inclusion, reducing the CO₂ footprint of its technology operations, establishing firm internal anti-corruption policies and supporting the execution of sustainable financing strategies within Indigita’s digital solutions.
