Following the opening of offices in Italy and Germany, Altaroc is continuing its expansion with the launch of Altaroc Wealth, a dedicated platform designed to support its partners – wealth management advisers, private bankers and family offices – on the wealth-structuring issues arising from their clients’ private equity investments.
As part of this new phase of development, Altaroc has announced the appointment of Pierre Ferron as Director of Wealth Engineering at Altaroc Wealth. With 20 years of experience advising entrepreneurs and executives, he brings strong legal and tax expertise gained at several leading financial institutions.
Pierre Ferron joined Edmond de Rothschild in 2014, where he most recently served as Deputy Director of the Wealth Engineering department. There, he advised executives and entrepreneurs on defining, structuring and implementing their wealth strategies, and helped strengthen the expertise offered to the group’s various distribution networks. Before that, he worked in the legal department of AXA France, having begun his career at UBS France in 2006. He holds a master’s degree (Master 2) in tax and business law and taught at Sciences Po Paris from 2015 to 2017.
“Our partners advise entrepreneurs and executives whose wealth remains closely tied to their business. When private equity enters these complex wealth structures, it raises practical questions – from liquidity allocation and structuring to succession and governance – that go beyond the choice of fund alone and require nuanced tax and wealth-planning solutions. Our ambition is to provide our partners with highly specialised expertise across the entire value chain: not to replace them, but to stand alongside them when complexity demands it. That is precisely the purpose of Altaroc Wealth: to broaden our service offering while maintaining the same exacting standards that have guided Altaroc since its inception.”
– Thibaut Mortelecq, Director of Development, Altaroc
“I am delighted to join Altaroc and take part in the launch of Altaroc Wealth. Bringing wealth engineering into a private equity management company is an innovation in the market, and it is this capacity for innovation that convinced me. It reflects my vision of the profession: a discipline in constant evolution, which requires building rigorous and resilient solutions over time.”

This appointment supports Altaroc’s growth momentum as the company continues to broaden its offering and strengthen its expertise for its partners and their clients. Faced with increasingly complex wealth challenges – asset diversification, wealth structuring and transfer, liquidity management and the pursuit of long-term performance – these clients now expect solutions that address all of their wealth needs in a constantly evolving economic, tax and regulatory environment.
