Kyndryl achieves an 83% customer satisfaction score in cloud and infrastructure services.
Swiss companies continue to rely on IT service providers, not least because of the new opportunities created by artificial intelligence. According to Whitelane Research’s latest IT Sourcing Study Switzerland 2026, 30% of the companies surveyed plan to allocate a larger share of their IT budget to external partners over the next two years, while a further 32% expect no change.
Cost-cutting is not the only factor. Among companies that plan to expand their work with IT providers, 61% cite the flexibility to scale IT resources as their main reason, 57% cite access to new technologies, and the same proportion cite lower costs.
Against this backdrop, Kyndryl has achieved one of its strongest results to date in the Swiss edition of the Whitelane study. In the Cloud & Infrastructure Services category, the company recorded a customer satisfaction score of 83%, up three percentage points on the previous year. Whitelane ranks Kyndryl joint first in the category and names it an “Exceptional Performer”.
Kyndryl’s overall customer satisfaction score also improved again, rising to 80% in 2026 from 78% the previous year and 68% in 2024, a gain of twelve percentage points in two years.
“These results are particularly valuable to us because they come directly from our customers’ feedback,” says Jacqueline Wild, Vice President and Managing Director of Kyndryl Alps, which includes Switzerland. “The fact that we have improved year after year and now rank among the leading providers of cloud and infrastructure services shows how much importance we attach to the reliability of business-critical IT operations and to working closely with our customers. At the same time, this result encourages us to deepen that collaboration even further.”
Strong scores for security and service quality
Kyndryl also achieved above-average results across several performance indicators. On security, it scored 84%, the highest rating in the ranking. Service delivery and account management quality were both rated at 82%, while value for money scored 76%.
For the IT Sourcing Study Switzerland 2026, Whitelane Research surveyed more than 170 senior executives at Swiss companies with high IT spending. The study assessed more than 400 relationships with 22 IT service providers, examining overall customer satisfaction as well as specific service areas and performance indicators.
