Indigita joins the UN Global Compact to advance sustainable and responsible business practices

Swiss regtech company Indigita SA has joined the United Nations Global Compact — a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices — as a full participant. As part of this initiative, Indigita has committed to embedding the ten principles of the UN Global Compact into its strategies and operations, upholding human and labour rights, protecting the environment and combating corruption in all its forms.

  • Launched in 2000, the United Nations Global Compact is the world’s largest sustainability initiative, with more than 15,000 companies and 3,800 non-business signatories based in more than 160 countries, and more than 69 local networks. The initiative is a call to companies around the world to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption, and to act in support of UN goals and the issues set out in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • By integrating the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact into its strategies, policies and procedures, and by fostering a culture of integrity, Indigita is not only fulfilling its core responsibilities to people and the planet, it is also laying the foundations for long-term success and contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
  • To honour its commitment, Indigita will take part in collaborative projects related to good governance, transparency and accountability, and will report its progress annually. These will include initiatives aimed at promoting diversity and inclusion, reducing the CO2 footprint of its technology operations, establishing robust internal anti-corruption policies and supporting the execution of sustainable finance strategies within Indigita’s digital solutions.
  • Achille Deodato, CEO of Indigita, said: “By joining the United Nations Global Compact, Indigita commits to taking the appropriate business measures that will enable our company to operate and grow sustainably, while making a positive contribution to the world in which we all live and work.
