Indigita joins the United Nations Global Compact to advance sustainable and responsible business practices

Swiss regtech company Indigita SA has joined the United Nations Global Compact, a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices, as a full participant. Through this initiative, Indigita has committed to integrating the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact into its strategies and operations, respecting human and labour rights, protecting the environment and combating corruption in all its forms.

  • Launched in 2000, the United Nations Global Compact is the world’s largest sustainability initiative, with more than 15,000 companies and 3,800 non-commercial signatories in over 160 countries, as well as more than 69 local networks. The initiative calls on companies worldwide to align their operations and strategies with ten universally recognised principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption, and to support the United Nations’ goals and the themes embedded in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • By integrating the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact into its strategies, policies and procedures and by fostering a culture of integrity, Indigita is not only assuming its core responsibility to people and the planet, but also laying the foundations for its long-term success and contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
  • To fulfil its commitment, Indigita will take part in cooperative projects related to good governance, transparency and accountability, and will report annually on its progress. These include, among other things, projects aimed at promoting diversity and inclusion, reducing the CO2 footprint of its technology operations, introducing strict internal anti-corruption policies and supporting the implementation of sustainable finance strategies within Indigita’s digital solutions.
  • Achille Deodato, CEO of Indigita, said: “By joining the United Nations Global Compact, Indigita is committing to take the appropriate business measures that will enable our company to operate and grow sustainably while making a positive contribution to the world in which we all live and work.
